Center Channel Hole This is a required option.
With Access Holes: This is the traditional method. Spoke access holes are drilled in the center channel to allow the nipples to easily be fed through the rim. Tubeless tape is required to seal the rim.
No Access Holes: No spoke access holes are drilled in the center channel. Feeding the nipples through the rim is more challenging, but it allows for a tubeless setup without the need for tape. This kind of system is known as "road tubeless" and was made popular by Mavic. Some companies still refer to it as "UST style", however, UST is actually a specific interface between the tire and rim which was developed by a partnership between Mavic, Michelin, and Hutchinson.
Currently, rims with 'No Access Holes' do not work with our carbon spokes.

Drain Hole This is a required option.
The two small drain holes located 90° to the valve hole effectively help evacuate both the water trapped inside the rim and the air leaking into the rim chamber caused by nonperfect tubeless tape sealing handwork that may risk rim explosure in an aggressive tire inflating.
It is the small reinforced layer prelaminated on the area where the drain hole is drilled later that makes the rim strength fairly ensured without any compromise of weight added.
Riders who ride in wet areas are suggested to order rims with drain holes.

Road rims use super light waterslide decals (matte colors). The decal is very thin and applied under a clearcoat so they are non-removeable.

Hi, I'm looking to build a set of Track wheels using dura ace hubs. Do you do anything like this but with a narrower width? If not, what would you recommend for your best rim for the track (tubular)? James

Hi Matthew, Yes, we can customized internal nipple(hidden nipples) rims for you. And you don't have to pay extra fees. It is CNY precision drilling on our carbon fiber bike rims. We have really advanced CNC machine here can drill spoke holes with forward/backward/right/left, four angle directions. Thanks, Lightbicycle
