I am looking for a gravel bike wheelset for a Santa Cruz Stigmata with disc brakes. I weight approximately 78 kg. The wheelset will be for training and racing. I would like to be able to run a tubeless tyre size of 700x35c or 700x40c. Have you had any issues with the tubeless setups for WTB tyres like the CrossBoss or Nano? Would you recommend a 28H or 32H rim? Thank you,

Hello Eric, Thanks for your inquiry. According to your info, we’d like to recommend our new 28mm wide 36mm depth wheels. It is with aero profile and 28mm width, offering greater stability with wider tyres. They are ideal for training and racing. It is available for both hook and hookless design. What your riding tire pressure is normally? Then we will do some recommendations. The rim is tubeless compatible, and you can use the tubeless rim tape, sealant and tubeless tire. Then it will ride tubeless perfectly. We haven’t received any issue with the tubeless setup for WTB tires. The 24mm rim cannot ride tubeless. You are not a large rider, so 28H is strong enough for your riding. Novatec/ Hope pro4/ DT Swiss disc hubs are available. Which do you prefer? Then we will quote accordingly. Thanks, Lightbicycle

Hello Hym, Thanks for your inquiry. The 25mm U-shaped rim is what we recommend. The aerodynamic shape makes road tubeless rims lightweight but still stiff, keeping them stable in cross winds. Please find attached rims profile. RRU25C02 (25mm wide U-shaped 25mm clincher rim): 395 /-15g, USD159/pcs Rims without braking surface are fine. Spoke counts in 28H for front & rear? 3k/12k/UD are the 3 choices for cosmetic appearance. The rim strength & weight is virtually identical. UD Matte is the most popular. We have 25mm deep, 35mm deep, 45mm deep and 55mm deep. Which do you prefer for your wheelset? For road hubs, we have DT 350S, but it is front 20H/rear 24H. Is it ok for you?
