Happy Chinese New Year (Xīnnián hǎo)! With our annual Spring Festival just around the corner, we want to do something different to share our happiness with you. We’ll start our new “Lucky Money” initiative with UNICEF; and as a token of appreciation, we’re also excited to offer a limited-time $50 off shipping to riders worldwide.
Sending Lucky Money to UNICEF: Your Purchase Counts
Wrapping money in red envelopes as a gift for children and other family members is an important tradition during the Spring Festival! This gesture conveys wishes of good health, happiness, and luck for the following year. With the new lunar year on the way, we felt this was the perfect time to kick off our new “Lucky Money” program.
During the holiday season, Light Bicycle will partner with UNICEF (United Nations Children’s Fund) by donating $10 from every new frame, wheel or rim order made from our website. UNICEF is the world’s farthest reaching humanitarian organization for young people, providing life saving essentials like food, fresh water, and clothing for children.
We’re very proud to start this initiative and look forward to working with a charity like UNICEF. Our hope is that these donations will act as a bridge that allows our customers to support ongoing relief efforts around the world.

In addition to the $10 Lucky Money charitable donation, we have a special offer for our customers!
Enjoy $50 OFF shipping rates on all orders of wheels and/or framesets placed with our Global shop during the 2023 Spring Festival (January 18th to 30th). For orders with a shipping cost under $50, the actual shipping rate is discounted. Now is the perfect time to freshen up your bike setup ahead of the next season. Please note that Global orders placed during the Spring Festival will ship after January 30th.
