I paired the Falcon Pro AR465 wheels with my Winspace SLC2.0 rim brake frame. The Winspace SLC2.0 is a lightweight climbing frame, making it lighter than typical aero-optimized frames. For the wheel setup, the Falcon Pro AR465 features straight pull Sapim CX Ray spokes in the front wheel and Sapim CX Ray on the non-drive side of the rear, while the drive side uses Sapim CX Sprint spokes. The spokes are attached to DT Swiss aluminum Squorx Pro Head nipples, which include nipple washers. I’m using DT Swiss 240 hubs with 20 spokes in the front wheel and 24 spokes in the rear. Despite having a taller profile, the rims are fast and handle well in windy conditions. Additionally, I have Bontrager Speed Stop Pro direct mount brakes on both the front and rear. While the critical dimension for these wheels is 30mm for compatibility, they fit well in this configuration. As seen, these rims have a glossy finish, drain holes, and braided UD weave.
