Freehub Body This is a required option.

1. Shimano Road 11S works with 11/12-speed cassette directly or 8/9/10-speed mountain cassette with a spacer(s) .
2. Shimano MTB 10/11S works with 8/9-speed directly or 10-speed with a spacer or 11-speed road cassette if one of the inner cogs removed.
3. Campagnolo (Campy) 11S works with 9/10/11/12-speed Campy cassette with no spacers required.
4. Sram XDR could run XDR (road) cassette inherently and is compatible to run mountain bike XD cassette with a 1.85mm spacer.
5. Shimano Micro Spline (MS) works with 12-speed MS cassette only.

DT Swiss hubs use star ratchets and are available in 4 different models with varying points of engagement.

18T - Deepest teeth, slowest engagement, least amount of maintenance, suitable for powerful riders.

36T - Happy medium, doubles the engagement points.

54T - Super fast engagement, but shallow teeth require more careful re-greasing and the thru-axle should be checked every ride.

24T - Made out of hardened steel as e-bike specific.

EXP 36 - With only a single spring, making the hubs faster and lighter. More precise contact makes a longer lifespan.

EXP 54 - Upgraded from EXP 36 to gain incredibly faster engagement.

Finish This is a required option.

The "Finish" relates to how the rim is coated or painted such as matte or glossy for the most common applications. Our Recon Pro and Falcon Pro rims feature BlackTek and come out of molds as a completed product, with an inherent scratch resistant and near flawless finish, eliminating the need for coating or painting (weight saved as well). We name this kind of superior finish the paintless.

Full Custom: This option (if provided here to choose) offers custom finish such as Satin/Matte/Glossy etc at no extra charge with added 100g/wheel and 1-2 weeks LONGER on manufacture. If you select this option and LEAVE YOUR REQUIREMENT IN QUOTES IN THE NOTES AT CHECKOUT, we will reach out to you once the order is placed to finalize the details.

The Surge disc wheel uses a sandwich-like construction of foam and carbon that lowers wheel weight to 885g (paintless). The Surge wheels are also available in the clincher (tubeless capable) style.

To ensure your race experience remains uncompromised, we conduct rigorous dynamic speed balance testing in-house on every Surge disc wheel, simulating speeds of up to 60 km/h. This means you can trust that every wheel that arrives at your doorstep is ready to perform at the highest level.

For Pro Series Rims: From the date of purchase, 5-year Pro Warranty as standard and an upgraded optional lifetime Premium Warranty with minimum charge.

Crash Replacement: It is applicable with the same period as the warranty time range that you purchased for the rims with 10% /25% discount for Non-Pro series /Pro series.
