Hi ! I have few questions ! 1°) Does the custom braking surface affects the braking performance or the durability of the wheel in itself ? 2°) Does the Grooved graphene braking surface make the wheel more durable ? 3°) Can i replace the braking surface to improve the longevity of the wheel ? ​Hi Sir, Thanks for your inquiry. Please find our reply as below. 1. What kind of custom braking surface do you like? Then I can check whether it will affect wheels durability or not. 2. Yes, grooved graphene brake surface is better for heat allows for greater resistance to overheating with improved heat dissipation and reduced temperature accumulation during heavy braking. The grooved track helps evacuate trapped moisture between pad and rim in wet conditions, and brings more resistance and force at the lever when conditions are dry. 3.Once the brake surface is wore out. It is not replaceable. Normally, for AR465 pro rims 700C rim brake, it is 5 years warranty. It is durable enough. Thanks, Lightbicycle
