Wonderful rims! It is light but also stiff enough and I love them. The default wheels on Scott Addict were about 1,700g but the AR35 rims allowed me to build a sub 1,400g wheelset with DT350 hubs and spokes mixing both CX-Sprint and CX-Ray. This 300+g difference allowed me to climb up steep mountain paths with ease and I appreciate it. In addition, 35mm deep rims provide decent aero on flats. It is not as good as 50mm deep wheels but should be better than that of 25mm wheels. I highly recommend AR35 rims for those who like to climb up the mountains but also like to go on flats. For more hilly climbs (like ones with a 20%+ gradient), I would go for AR25 rims. For more aero, I would go for AR465s or turbo 50s. However, if you want an all-round “I can do everything” type of wheels, the AR35 should be the one to go for.
